Comme le r\u00e9v\u00e8le la derni\u00e8re enqu\u00eate de mobilit\u00e9, r\u00e9alis\u00e9e* en mai aupr\u00e8s des \u00e9tudiants et collaborateurs de l\u2019EPFL, les habitudes de transport pendulaire continuent de verdir.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-899\" src=\"https:\/\/www.2em.ch\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/blur-1239439_640-300x196.jpg\" alt=\"Mobilit\u00e9 L'EPFL\" width=\"300\" height=\"196\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.2em.ch\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/blur-1239439_640-300x196.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.2em.ch\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/blur-1239439_640.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Une bonne nouvelle qui arrive alors que plus de <strong><em>11\u2019000<\/em><\/strong> \u00e9tudiants reprennent aujourd\u2019hui le chemin de l\u2019EPFL et que l\u2019Europe c\u00e9l\u00e8bre en ce moment la semaine de la mobilit\u00e9. Ainsi, entre <em><strong>2003<\/strong><\/em> et <em><strong>2019<\/strong><\/em>, le taux de marcheurs a plus que doubl\u00e9 (passant de<strong><em> 5<\/em><\/strong> \u00e0 <em><strong>12<\/strong><\/em>%), celui des cyclistes a augment\u00e9 de <em><strong>50<\/strong><\/em>% (de<em><strong> 14<\/strong><\/em> \u00e0 <em><strong>21<\/strong><\/em>%) et celui des automobilistes a chut\u00e9 de <em><strong>17<\/strong><\/em> points (de <em><strong>30<\/strong><\/em>% \u00e0 <strong><em>13<\/em><\/strong>%).<\/p>\n<p>\u00abNous avons r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 obtenir ces excellents r\u00e9sultats uniquement \u00e0 l\u2019aide de mesures incitatives et d\u2019actions cibl\u00e9es, se r\u00e9jouit Luca Fontana, responsable des mobilit\u00e9s \u00e0 Durabilit\u00e9 EPFL. Cela nous encourage \u00e0 poursuivre nos efforts dans la mise en place d\u2019un Plan de mobilit\u00e9 innovant et ambitieux.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Environ <em><strong>30<\/strong><\/em>% des sond\u00e9s ont r\u00e9pondu \u00e0 l\u2019enqu\u00eate, soit quelque <em><strong>4600<\/strong><\/em> personnes (<em><strong>38<\/strong><\/em>% des collaborateurs et <em><strong>24<\/strong><\/em>% des \u00e9tudiants).<\/p>\n<p>Une hausse r\u00e9jouissante de <em><strong>8,6<\/strong> <\/em>points par rapport \u00e0 la derni\u00e8re enqu\u00eate de <em><strong>2017<\/strong><\/em>. On apprend ainsi que six participants sur 10 habitent \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 du campus d\u2019Ecublens, \u00e0 Lausanne ou dans les quatre communes environnantes. Plus de la moiti\u00e9 des pendulaires, <em><strong>54<\/strong><\/em>%, arrive entre 7h45\u00a0et 8h30.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abC\u2019est une donn\u00e9e int\u00e9ressante pour nous, car on peut r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 des mesures afin de mieux \u00e9chelonner les arriv\u00e9es et d\u00e9sengorger ainsi les transports publics et les routes\u00bb, remarque Luca Fontana. Les d\u00e9parts sont en revanche beaucoup plus \u00e9tal\u00e9s, essentiellement de 17h \u00e0 19h.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Variations selon le statut<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La grande question reste de savoir par quel moyen de transport se d\u00e9placent les utilisateurs du campus. Les r\u00e9ponses divergent nettement selon les statuts de collaborateur ou d\u2019\u00e9tudiant<\/p>\n<p>. Sur la dur\u00e9e, entre <em><strong>2003<\/strong><\/em> et <strong><em>2019<\/em><\/strong>, la proportion d\u2019\u00e9tudiants se rendant sur le campus \u00e0 pied est pass\u00e9e de <em><strong>6%<\/strong><\/em> \u00e0 <em><strong>15%<\/strong><\/em>; \u00e0 v\u00e9lo de <em><strong>15%<\/strong><\/em> \u00e0 <em><strong>22%<\/strong><\/em>. En revanche, l\u2019utilisation des transports publics reste stable (<em><strong>57%<\/strong><\/em>), tandis que celle de la voiture et des deux-roues motoris\u00e9s devient marginale, chutant de <em><strong>21%<\/strong><\/em> \u00e0 <strong><em>5%<\/em><\/strong>. A noter qu\u2019avant <strong><em>2003<\/em><\/strong>, il n\u2019existait pas de logements \u00e9tudiants sur le campus.<\/p>\n<p>Les collaborateurs EPFL suivent les m\u00eames tendances avec une mobilit\u00e9 douce en pleine croissance (+13 points) au cours des 15 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Les adeptes de la petite reine ont presque doubl\u00e9 de 11% \u00e0 20%. Trains, m\u00e9tros et bus deviennent les moyens de transport plus utilis\u00e9s (de 32% \u00e0 40%), devant la voiture (de 50% \u00e0 30%).<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Succ\u00e8s des v\u00e9los \u00e9lectriques et PubliBike<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Ces parts modales ne sont pas constantes tout au long de l\u2019ann\u00e9e et varient en fonction des saisons. Ainsi, en \u00e9t\u00e9, un net report se produit en faveur du v\u00e9lo, +12 points pour atteindre 27%\u00a0; ceci au d\u00e9triment des transports publics surtout et de la voiture un peu.<\/p>\n<p>Ainsi, en \u00e9t\u00e9, le nombre de v\u00e9los augmente d\u2019environ 70% par rapport \u00e0 l\u2019hiver tandis que celui des voitures baisse de 15%. A noter que le nombre de v\u00e9los \u00e9lectriques, environ 15% des bicyclettes, double avec la belle saison.<\/p>\n<p>Concernant les v\u00e9los, PubliBike conna\u00eet un franc succ\u00e8s parmi les services de mobilit\u00e9 propos\u00e9s par l\u2019Ecole. Pr\u00e8s de la moiti\u00e9 des participants l\u2019utilisent \u2013 deux fois plus d\u2019\u00e9tudiants que de collaborateurs (66% versus 31%). En moins d\u2019une ann\u00e9e, plus de 120&rsquo;000 trajets ont \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9s par des usagers du campus.<\/p>\n<p>A noter qu\u2019un \u00e9tudiant sur cinq profite du Point v\u00e9lo EPFL, l\u2019atelier de vente de v\u00e9los d\u2019occasion et de r\u00e9parations \u00e0 bas prix du campus. En outre, le service d\u2019autopartage Mobility s\u00e9duit 22% des participants, en majorit\u00e9 le personnel, 29% versus 15%.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Le d\u00e9fi du covoiturage<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Des efforts, Durabilit\u00e9 EPFL va encore en d\u00e9ployer et les utilisateurs du campus pourront en voir les r\u00e9sultats d\u00e8s l\u2019automne. Ainsi, en partenariat avec les tl, des bons de r\u00e9duction d\u00e9mat\u00e9rialis\u00e9s pour les transports publics r\u00e9gionaux seront \u00e0 disposition des collaborateurs d\u00e8s le mois d\u2019octobre.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, 24 stations de recharge pour v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques seront inaugur\u00e9es, d\u00e8s la rentr\u00e9e, en partenariat avec Green Motion.<\/p>\n<p>Par ailleurs, si la part des \u00e9tudiants venant en voiture est n\u00e9gligeable (3%) d\u00fb notamment \u00e0 des conditions de parking tr\u00e8s restrictives, 30% du personnel utilise une voiture dans son d\u00e9placement pendulaire. Dans la plupart des cas (77%), le conducteur est seul. Or un quart des automobilistes serait pr\u00eat \u00e0 tenter l\u2019exp\u00e9rience du covoiturage.<\/p>\n<p>Un levier que Durabilit\u00e9 EPFL va actionner d\u00e8s le mois prochain: une campagne en faveur du covoiturage sera lanc\u00e9e avec notamment une nouvelle plateforme de mise en relation des covoitureurs.
